Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) and capable of forming a binding contract to register as a Tester.

You agree to provide accurate registration information, including your name, email, phone number, and device details, and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for the security of your account and any activity that occurs through it.

One person may hold only one Tester account. Creating multiple accounts to claim additional test runs or referral rewards is a material breach of these Terms and may result in forfeiture of unpaid balances.

Testers are independent participants, not employees, agents, or contractors of Bugfed. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, partnership, or agency relationship. You are free to accept or decline any test run offered to you.

You are solely responsible for any tax obligations arising from compensation you receive through the Platform.

When you accept a test run, you agree to:

• •Complete the assigned tasks honestly, on your own device, and in good faith.
• •Submit accurate, non-fabricated bug reports and feedback.
• •Keep confidential any app, build, or material you are given access to during a test run, and not share, redistribute, or publicly disclose it.
• •Not use automation, scripts, or bots to simulate testing activity.
• •Not submit duplicate or plagiarised bug reports across multiple accounts.

We may reject a submission, withhold compensation for that submission, or suspend your account if we reasonably believe a test run was completed fraudulently or in bad faith.

Completed and approved test runs earn points, redeemable for cash at the rate displayed in your account. Points have no value until redeemed and cannot be transferred between accounts.

Payout requests are reviewed before release and may require identity or payment-method verification. We reserve the right to withhold a payout pending review of suspected fraud or Terms violations.

Referral rewards are credited only once the referred Tester completes onboarding as described at the time of referral.

You agree not to:

• •Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the Platform.
• •Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, age, or device.
• •Use the Platform to gain unauthorised access to any system or another user's data.
• •Harass or contact other Testers or Clients outside channels provided by the Platform.
• •Upload malware or attempt to compromise a device or app provided for testing.

We may suspend or terminate your account, without notice, for violating this section.

Apps, builds, and materials provided to you for testing remain the property of the respective Client and are licensed to you solely for the purpose of completing the assigned test run. You acquire no rights in that content.

The Bugfed name, logo, and Platform software are the property of Bugfed. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Platform.

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE A MINIMUM VOLUME OF TEST RUNS, EARNINGS, OR CONTINUOUS AVAILABILITY OF THE PLATFORM.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bugfed's total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms will not exceed the total compensation paid to you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You may close your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, or extended inactivity. Approved, unpaid earnings at the time of termination remain payable subject to standard verification.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above and, where required, notified to you by email. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
